Young Stewards & Leaders is a new multicultural program that is open to ten high school students who meet monthly for one year. Qualified YSL graduates will have an opportunity to transition into NPS Academy’s internships.

Young Stewards & Leaders promotes youth empowerment, leadership development, volunteerism, and conservation. Mentors help students become ambassadors for stewardship within Grand Teton National Park, surrounding public land, and the community. Outdoor recreation and an inspirational speaker series connect students to nature and plant seeds for future careers.
