For over 20 years, Grand Teton has utilized volunteer groups to help with the preservation of historical buildings and landscapes, completing critical work and protecting significant properties. Grand Teton Hammer Corps provides the park with skilled project leaders, a formal avenue for returning volunteers, and increased opportunities for service projects. In the program’s inaugural summer, 222 volunteers contributed over 3,000 hours to preservation projects in Grand Teton National Park.
